SmartStream Corona Application Consultant – Strategic Banking Engagement
Job Description
Sygma Technology Ltd is recruiting on behalf of one of its premier banking clients for a Corona Application Consultant to support a mission-critical engagement involving financial reconciliation, data transformation, exception handling, and message interface integration.
The consultant will work within the SmartStream Corona platform to configure and maintain high-volume transaction workflows across multiple modules including Cash, Cards, and Reporting, with a focus on automation and message processing.
Location: Remote initially, with onsite assignment possible (Mauritius, 2–3 months)

Candidate Profile
- 5+ years in financial reconciliation systems, with 3+ years hands-on Corona experience
- Solid understanding of transaction processing and financial messaging standards
- Proven experience in ETL and interface configuration
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ready for remote start by June 2025, with onsite availability (short-term) if required
Modules & Functional Domains
- Corona Core Modules: Cash, Cards, Universal Data, Reporting
- Reconciliation Logic: Account creation, matching methods, matching sets, pseudo-reference sets, bank statement processing
- Data Transformation Tool (ETL): Development and configuration of transformation scripts, source-to-target mapping (e.g., Cards module)
- Message Interfaces: MTxxx (SWIFT), MX (ISO 20022), CSV, MQSeries, file watchdog, interface loaders
- Exception Management (PIS): Investigation message setup, workflow automation, and parameter configuration
